cute, right?

We put her in the guest room last night and used some boxes to block off the doorway. This is what she did to the boxes…

not a wedding post...

My brain no longer generates any thoughts outside of centerpieces, cakes or dresses. I feel like I need to expand its functionality a little so I strayed away from The Knot longer enough to find this piece by Kim Beury.

new member of the family...

I was greeted by this monstrosity when I pulled into the driveway tonight :) Paul pick up this sweet ride to help transport stuff for the shop. Oh man...I don't even know what to say.

i'm going to make a horrible wife...

aisle...

I found these garden stakes for $1 a piece! We plan on having the ceremony out on the lawn so I wanted to dress up the rows of white chairs somehow. We'll put one of these at the end of each row.

I was originally thinking of making paper cones in green with brown and white/cream ribbons and filling them with some kind of white flowers but then I saw the red poms in the second picture. I love these. I would make them in white but I think real flowers would be end up costing more than I had budgeted for this little project. I'm afraid that silk flowers might look weird but I'll try one and see.

this is the bouquet i want...

I love this big bunch of hydrangeas! This is exactly what I was picturing in my head except I would switch the purple for green. Perfect. And it's not $150. (Hopefully not $150)

i don't know what i was thinking...

Paul and I met with the florist a couple weeks ago to get ideas about pricing. I really don't know what I was expecting but I definitely wasn't expecting $55 per table...especially with 22-25 tables. Anyways, here are some pictures of the beautiful flowers that you won't be seeing at our wedding :)

for the tables...

Instead of doing a full-blown candy station, we might put little jars on the tables and fill them with mints, etc. We could finish them off with a ribbon and a little label. I found these little jars at Ikea. A 4-pack costs $2.99.

favors...

eBay has everything! We found these laptop candy molds for our favors.

Paul found this cake topper, too...

wedding ideas...

I found these pics from a real wedding on the Weddingbee site. I think I might have to borrow a few of these ideas.

:)

This is one of the other pieces I did for Paul's birthday. I love this picture!

birthday gifts...

Paul's birthday was Saturday and these are two little drawings I did for him.

lanterns...

We were thinking about hanging something from the rafters of the pavilion roof. The roof is a little high so this might make it feel a little cozier. I like the way they used different sized lanterns in this pic.

flowers...

Hi Jen! I don't know if you still come here but I'm going to try to post some wedding stuff for you to check out. I think we're going go with brown and green for the colors. These are some of the ideas I found for flowers. I really like the hydrangeas in the top right pic. Very simple but pretty.
